David Brown has gained considerable experience in this arena, demonstrating time and again that it has the skills, experience and expertise to find innovative ways to improve transmissions, final drives and power packs. Working on transmissions for heavy and light armoured vehicles, David Brown has demonstrated its ability to extend service intervals, reduce maintenance requirements, improve operator usability and increase reliability/durability. Current projects demonstrating this capability include TN54E transmissions for the Challenger 2 MBT platform and HMPT transmissions for the Bradley fighting vehicle and MRLS platforms amongst others.
